I am about a half hour away from doing my 2nd ever professional modeling shoot. I modeled once in high school for a knock off American Eagle type company but the pictures were never used because not all the other kids that shot got consent forms. Today I am doing semi-nude shots. My roommate is a professional fetish model and one of the photographers she likes to shoot with likes curvy girls so since he is down here shooting with her he is going to be shooting me as well.
Honestly, I am nervous as fuck. Sure, I have racey photos on the internet. Those that have read my blog from the beginning or that have gone back far enough have seen my breasts, but I honestly have no idea what this guy is looking for. In my newly acquired singleness I have realized the importance of location. Less than 1 week after breaking off my engagement I got to know, meet, and fuck an amazing boy. Maybe it was luck or fate or chance, but we hit it off splendidly. During the first week with said boy, I experienced fucking in a sex club, going to a leather party, and attending an LSM meeting among other things. Since being back home, I am really beginning to miss NYC. I hated the city for the majority of my stay but I think I just hadn’t found the functions and people that I needed to find yet. The guys that want to play with me talk a lot about BDSM and some of them mean it, but I get the feeling that BDSM is just a means to an end (fucking). Maybe I haven’t met the right people here but I honestly feel a sense of alienation. Unless I want to commute an hour and a half to the largest city in the state there aren’t a lot of places to go and meet kinky folks. There also don’t seem to be a lot of resources available to queer kinky folks.
Now I am kicking myself for not exploring the city more and enjoying the resources available to kinky folks. I have been toying with the idea of moving back sometime after I finish grad school. Hope all the awesome folks I met are still around at that time. I miss you all more than I can say!
